Officers William Gould, James McNally and John Neumann were promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Officer Eric Ramos was promoted to the rank of Detective. The Town would like to commend them on their dedication and commitment to the Haverstraw community. There was also a special ceremony at the Haverstraw Town Board Meeting to remember Chase, Haverstraw’s first K-9 who passed away in October of 2019. Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Haverstraw Town Board presented Detective Greg Gaynor with a special framed photo in memory of Chase which will be proudly displayed at Town Hall. Chief Peter Murphy along with Captain Lund and Lieutenants Gould and Kaye also presented Det. Gaynor with a commemorative frame of numerous items including Chase’s collar and badge.
