At 3:37 p.m. on May 28, the Ramapo Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Phyllis Terrance in the Village of Kaser. Arriving officers discovered that a 15-month-old girl, Gitty Rosenberg, had been struck by a 2017 Toyota Sienna driven by her father, Levi Rosenberg.
The child was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
RPD’s Accident Investigation Unit is complete at the scene, but their investigation is continuing. There’s no additional information to be released at this time. Traffic was minimally affected as the accident offered in a residential parking lot.
