Rockland Business Women’s Network to Honor Three Rockland Business Women at Annual Breakfast on June 12

The Rockland Business Women’s Network (RBWN) will host its annual Women of Achievement Breakfast on Tuesday, June 12 at 8 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Suffern with the theme “Celebrating Our Strengths.”

This year RBWN will present the 2018 Women of Achievement Awards to Dr. Mary Leahy, CEO of Bon Secours Charity Health System/Good Samaritan Hospital and Jane Brown, executive director of Child Care Resources of Rockland in recognition of their outstanding professional accomplishments and their contributions to the Rockland County community. The group will also present the 2018 Service Woman of the Year award to Simone Hosang, COO of Caribbean Food Delights for her work on behalf of RBWN.

“RBWN has been supporting women in business in Rockland for nearly 40 years. Our theme this year, ‘Celebrating our Strengths,’ reflects not only the strength of our members in their respective businesses, but the collective strength we have at this time in our history,” stated Nancy Seeback, President of RBWN.

During the event, $1,000 scholarships will be presented to high school seniors Sara Ferraro of Clarkstown High School South and Sanjala Malla of North Rockland High School. Rose Fein of Rockland Community College will also receive a $1,000 Scholarship. This year all three scholarships have been underwritten by sponsors Jill Warner, Caribbean Food Delights and Alpine Growth Capital Advisors.
