Rockland free fair coming soon at Palisades Center parking lot

The Rockland Free Fair returns April 12-29 to Palisades Center in West Nyack with “The Greatest Showman”-style old-time sideshow acts under the big top, a petting zoo, favorite fair food, carnival games and midway rides for all ages.

There is no charge for fair parking, admission, the Records and Burpee Children’s Zoo, and the World of Wonders Amazement Show, starring sword swallowers, fire eaters, knife throwers, escape artists and other exciting acts. Showtimes are 7 and 9 p.m. weekdays and 3, 7 and 9 p.m. weekends.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $25 Monday – Thursday, $30 Friday – Sunday, or $30 for 2 weekday wristbands online in advance (until 5 pm Thurs., April 12).

Ride tickets are $1.50 each, $25 for 20 tickets, or $50 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. Rides take 3 or more tickets each. Visit the website for coupons for $5 off ride wristbands, $5 off a 50-ticket Super Saver Family Pack, and $2 off a $10 food purchase.

Fair hours are 5 – 11 p.m. Monday – Friday and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday – Sunday at 1000 Palisades Center Drive. The petting zoo closes daily at 10 p.m.
