Your weekly forecast by Zachary Jacomowitz
Hello, Rockland County! I hope you’ve had a great week. Let’s take a look at the forecast to see if any wintry weather is expected in the short-term.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with rain showers. High near 54° in the morning before temperatures drop into the 40s by the late afternoon. Breezy. Chance of rain is 60%.
Saturday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy and colder. High near 35° after a morning low near 20°. Chance of precipitation is 0%.
[Update from editor – since Zach’s original forecast the expected arrival of Sunday morning precipitation has been moved up several hours, now anticipated to begin Saturday night and bring a few inches of the white stuff to the NY-metro region]
Sunday: Cloudy. A storm nearby could provide us with some wintry precipitation, especially during the morning. High near 37° after a morning low near 28°. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Presidents’ Day: Mostly cloudy. High near 44° after a morning low near 24°. Chance of precipitation is 10%.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a few rain showers. Mild, with a high near 55° after a morning low near 40°. Chance of rain is 40%.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and colder. High near 38° after a morning low near 25°. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
