At approximately 3:45 p.m. Monday the Clarkstown Police Department responded to a three vehicle accident on Rt. 303 and Storms Road in Valley Cottage. The vehicles involved in the accident were two trucks and one car.
A male driver of one of the vehicles did not survive the severe injuries he suffered as a result of the accident. Three other individuals were transported to Nyack ER for non-life threatening injuries.
Rt. 304
Friday evening, September 22 around 7:27 p.m. today, Clarkstown Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a struck pedestrian at the intersection of Rt. 304 and Congers Road, in New City. Upon arrival, responding personnel located a male victim trapped beneath a Chevy Tahoe. The male pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver and passengers of the Tahoe were uninjured. The deceased is tentatively identified as a 58-year-old man.
