The deadline to apply for the free tickets is September 13, 2017 and a link to the application form can be found at jewishrockland.org/rji. Tickets are available for Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah Day 1, Rosh Hashanah Day 2, Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur.
Cantor Barry Kanarek, director of the Rockland Jewish Initiative is administering the free ticket program. According to Kanarek, “This is the fourth year that Federation has partnered with the Rockland County Board of Rabbis to offer free High Holiday tickets. Our goal is to make it easy for families who might be new to the area – or new to Judaism – to celebrate our most important holy days as part of a congregation.” For more information, Kanarek can be reached at 845-362-4200, ext. 170 or via e-mail at [email protected].
