Syncopation, a romantic comedy by Allan Knee, opens Friday, August 11, at Penguin Repertory Theatre in Stony Point. It is the story of an unlikely couple, a middle-aged Jewish butcher and a young Italian garment worker, taking dance lessons in a sixth-floor walkup and dreaming of a better life.
