Veterans Administration to Hold Town Hall in New City on August 4

NEW CITY, NY – Rockland County Executive Ed Day announces that the Department of Veterans Affairs will hold a Town Hall in Rockland on August 4.
 

Representatives from the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System will be at the New City Library, 220 North Main St., New City at 1 p.m., Friday, August 4

“This is a chance for Rockland County veterans, spouses, and the community to be able to meet, face-to-face, with VA leadership,” the County Executive said. “This is a great opportunity to have our concerns brought to the table and addressed.”

Susan Branam, deputy director of the Rockland County Veterans Service Agency will also attend.

The VA holds the meetings so that veterans, their families, veteran service organizations and other members of the community can share their thoughts with the agency.

The meetings are open to the public and last about one hour.
