Haitian American Political Alliance for Change (HAPAC) is hosting a candidate debate, Thursday, August 10, beginning at six o’clock in the evening, in the Ramapo Cultural Arts Center located at 64 North Main Street, Spring Valley. All candidates running County wise have been invited and the majority has agreed to participate in the debate.
The purpose of this debate is to give the candidates an opportunity to address policy issues vital to the county & Spring Valley’s future. These issues involve a range of crucial matters that include community planning, land use, infrastructure, environmental sustainability, streets and drainage, budgets, corruption, economic development, school district, public health and safety.
The moderators will ask each candidate the same opening question, which has been submitted in advance, followed by a series of questions.
