James Marino, age 17, residing at 162 Crocus Lane, Milford, PA was arrested June 29 at 3:20 a.m. Patrols responded to 7-11 on 9W in Stony Point for a report of two males who reportedly stole beer and fled on foot northbound. Patrols attempted to stop two male suspects on the James Farley Bridge but the both fled from police. They were caught a short time late and identified as the males who entered 7-11 and stole beer. Both males were arrested and processed at the station. The youthful male was released to the custody of his parents. While being processed, and the adult male, Marino, intentionally damaged a table in the processing area. In addition to being charged with petit larceny for the beer, he was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a class E felony. He was arraigned and released on $1,500 bail and is due back in court at a later date.
