Industrial coated abrasives manufacturer and distributor, Uneeda Enterprizes, Inc. of Spring Valley, marked its 50th anniversary this June. Founded in 1967 by Herman Fuchs in the Bronx, Uneeda has grown from a fledgling startup to the largest independent abrasive converter in the United States. Led by its current president Bruce Fuchs, Uneeda employs over 100 employees and operates from its 60,000 square foot headquarters in Spring Valley, as well as two satellite warehouses located in Lenoir, North Carolina and Salt Lake City, Utah.
“We are very proud of the organization we have built over the past 50 years as well as the long term relationships we have cultivated with our customers and suppliers”, says Fuchs. “Utilizing the strong foundation we have built over the past 50 years, our aggressive strategy for the future will include maintaining the same core values we hold true today; Quality, Service, Integrity and Innovation.”
Vice President Phyllis Crystal added, “Our commitment to our customer’s success is our number one priority. As a family business we value the strong and long term relationships we have with our customers and look forward to many years of continued growth.”
Uneeda commemorated their 50th Anniversary with a celebratory event on June 16 where they honored Herman and Mina Fuchs on their achievements and recognizing their legacy and contributions to the industry and local community.
