New web radio station based in Stony Point has been launched

Hudson River radio team members met with Stony Point Supervisor Jim Monaghan on June 6

Hudson River Radio held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, June 6 at their offices in Stony Point. Soon after, they signed a broadcast contract with the local ball club.

On Thursday, June 15, the station began broadcasting Boulders home games, simulcast directly from Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona, with play by play by voice of the Rockland Boulders, Seth Cantor. Games can be heard on HudsonRiverRadio.com or by downloading the station’s free app from the website.

In addition to the games, Hudson River Radio features a music and talk radio lineup and specialty programming for Rockland County. Some shows include “Steve and Katy in the Morning,” “The Richter Observatory” with WRKL alumnus Neil Richter, “Let’s Talk History” with Jennifer Lorenzo, and gardening program “Getting Dirty” with owner of DIG Farm, Allison Turcan.
