WOODBURY COMMON PREMIUM OUTLETS COMPLETES MAJOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, the massive outlet shopping destination 10 minutes from Rockland County, has completed a three-year, multi-million-dollar redevelopment project that expands and upgrades the property.

The redevelopment is highlighted by an additional 60,000 square feet of retail that expands Woodbury Common Premium Outlets to 910,000 square feet. The outlet center has added nearly 40 new luxury brands such as Givenchy, Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone, and Sandro and Maje. Woodbury Common now offers a selection of 240 first-class shopping options for visitors, all with a savings of 25 percent to 65 percent every day.

Woodbury Common has also added more than 14 new eateries to enhance and improve the shopping experience. These have elevated the center’s food offerings to include new varieties of international cuisine, as well as organic and vegan options. Shoppers now have access to eateries including Shake Shack, Yo! Sushi, Le Pain Quotidien, Magnolia Bakery, and Pret A Manger.

Woodbury Common owner Simon Premium Outlets say the Woodbury location is the largest and most well-known outlet center in the world, attracting over 13 million visitors per year. Due to the outlet’s proximity to New York City, many tourists make a point to visit Woodbury during trips to New York.

Additional enhancements at Woodbury Common include a new, state-of-the-art, four-level parking garage with smart park technology, and adding over 1,000 additional parking spaces to the property. On-site roads have been improved, and an outer loop has been established to allow for the smooth movement of traffic. Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the property.

There are now three guest services locations and shopper trolleys are available to ferry customers from the parking lots to various stores, including a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art “Welcome Center” and heated bus plaza with multilingual representatives available to assist shoppers.

Shoppers can see new landscaping, walkways, signage, lighting, artwork, fountains, fireplaces, and outdoor seating in shaded areas which give the shopping destination a fresh appeal. There is additional seating in Market Hall, and double the number of restrooms.

“Woodbury Common continues to set the benchmark in the retail industry, offering best-in-class luxury shopping and a memorable customer experience,” said David Mistretta, general manager of Woodbury Common Premium Outlets.“The redevelopment reinforces our commitment to providing shoppers with a superior environment and amenities, and bolsters our reputation as the place to go for the world’s most famous and desired luxury brands.”
