PIERMONT- The founding member of Procida Funding & Advisors and Donald Trump’s “original apprentice,” Billy Procida, will be getting married at Citi Field in June before a Dead & Company concert.

Procida, Piermont resident, who owns property in Sleepy Hollow and Beacon, recently took over for a company that filed for bankruptcy and is now renovating neglected structures that have amounted “hundreds” of violations, the New York Post says.

Last week Procida was in the basement of an apartment building when an arsonist set fire to it. After the incident, Procida called the NY Post with frightening news: “We could have been killed.”

“I think they thought we were ICE coming,” he told a reporter in a recent interview, referring to Immigration & Customs Enforcement police. “Nobody spoke English, but I shook 150 hands. I have to meet every tenant and I want to hear all of their issues.”

Procida has already begun full renovations redoing facades, hallways and the backyards. “I’m also donating time as a consultant, and my architect will give ideas to anyone on the street that wants to upgrade their building,” he said of the retail street.

“Procida Funding provides capital for a wide range of asset classes in the eastern region of the US, with a concentration in the New York metropolitan area,” according to his website procida.com. The capital fund specializes in $500,000 to $25 million dollars for highly qualified struggling business and real estate development.

Procida played a large role in a two of high-profile Rockland projects: the TIME Nyack hotel, which opened last April, and the Tallman Beach and Pool Club, which opened Memorial Day 2016.

In 1990 Procida was hired by President Trump as a vice president for the vast Trump empire.

Procida described the now U.S. President and his former boss as a “workaholic, decisive, he didn’t put of with any bull…He always wanted everyone’s opinion,” in an interview with The Journal New in 2016.

Procida told the Journal News that working with Trump launched Procida’s career to unimaginable levels, “Four years after I left him I won New York City developer of the year at 32.”

Now, Procida is looking forward to wedded bliss with a “Deadhead-”themed wedding to seal the deal. Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir is to officiate Procida’s ceremony.

The longtime self-proclaimed “Deadhead” Procida will marry his fiancée Kelly on June 24. “I have a whole section for my friends. It’s better than renting a hall and hiring a band. Now I have the Dead playing at my wedding.”

No arrests have been made in the arson case.
