EXPANSION OF WILLOW GROVE ROAD DUNKIN’ DONUTS & GAS STATION PROPOSED

The Stony Point Planning Board will begin considering a request from the Dunkin Donuts & gas station on Willow Grove Rd. to allow a 3,000 square foot expansion of the storefront including a new access point to Algonquin Road.

Owners of the business will make a presentation to a meeting of the board on March 23, 6:30 p.m. at the RHO Building. Some residents in the neighborhood are concerned that traffic in the area is already dicey.

Willow Grove Rd. is the border where the Town of Haverstraw and the Town of Stony Point meet on that stretch of land. Therefore, the opinion of the Town of Haverstraw and impacted Haverstraw residents will be among those taken into consideration by Stony Point officials.
