Maintain the Age of Criminal Responsibility in New York State

To the Editor,

Mr. Cuomo and Mr. Carlucci along with the majority of liberal Democrats are Naive to want to raise the age of criminal responsibility. The criminal mind is that of a predator that preys on the honest working public. The lack of people taking responsibility for their own actions is a major problem in todays society. By raising the age of responsibility from 16 to 18 , the predator mind will seize this as an opportunity to continue their criminal lifestyle. Our liberal elected officials are just out of touch with the problems faced in our communities. As fate would have it the experience of being arrested and serving some Jail time may just save this individuals life and serve as a positive learning experience equal to a semester of college.
