Michella Magic: 88-year-old hits hole-in-one at Rotella

Frank J. Michella lined up to the fifth hole at Phillip J. Rotella Golf Course on April 13 and suddenly it was 1986 again. That was the last time the avid golfer hit a hole-in-one.

On this early spring day in 2016, the 88-year-old Michella was destined to hit his second hole-in-one, using his driver to whack the ball straight into the hole on the par-3. The lifelong West Haverstraw man electrified his golf buddies and himself with the surprising ace.
