Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence and Ramapo Local Development Corporation officers John Brunson and Moses Gross handed interim directorship of the Ramapo LDC to St. Lawrence’s longtime gal pal Kerry Potter during a November 20, 2015 meeting, the Rockland County Times has learned. Potter took the extra responsibilities at no additional salary expense to the taxpayers.

St. Lawrence divorced his wife of many years Nanci in 2013 and has been seen out with Potter at many social occasions since. At last check of Potter’s LDC salary three years ago, she had been making over $70,000 per year plus benefits. New salary information could not be found at this time.

Several well-connected town sources have told the newspaper that Potter is St. Lawrence’s on-again, off-again girlfriend. Potter, also a WRCR 1700 AM programming director and formerly a longtime assistant at the LDC, would not confirm the nature of her relationship with St. Lawrence to the newspaper and whether they are currently dating.

The LDC is in charge of the Provident Bank Stadium in Pomona, other recreational activities including a summer concert series at the stadium and a housing development. Former ED Aaron Troodler has stepped down from the position to make way for Potter. St. Lawrence is assumed to effectively run the LDC regardless of who holds the ED position. The LDC also has been under scrutiny by the FBI for its role in the financing of the stadium.
