Partnership Signing for RCC; SUNY Purchase & LIU Hudson

Ramapo- On Tuesday, March 22, Rockland Community College will host a signing event formalizing RCC’s unique relationship with SUNY Purchase College & Long Island University Hudson. Several master’s degrees through LIU Hudson provide RCC students with a smooth and cost-effective path for earning a professional graduate degree without having to leave Rockland County.

This partnership will enable students to travel a seamless academic path in select disciplines after graduation from Rockland Community College. Many RCC alumni already earn their bachelor’s through the Purchase College Extension Site at RCC. In addition to a smooth academic path, scholarships are provided for students meeting specific academic and financial needs criteria.

Bachelor’s degrees include Liberal Studies, Communications, and Liberal Studies: Legal Studies, with each also providing an excellent foundation for continuing at LIU Hudson for a professional level master’s degree.

Master’s degrees include: pharmaceutics, a broad comprehensive set of master’s programs in teaching and counseling, and business administration as well as health or public administration. Purchase College graduates also receive a 25 percent tuition reduction at LIU Hudson in addition to the convenience of attending the LIU Hudson campus in Orangeburg. Several of the master’s programs also provide accelerated academic tracks.
