The Rockland Sherriff’s Dept. evicted Subway sandwich shop on Main St., Nyack for not paying rent in over four months. The Subway shop was located on the upper level of the Old Riverspace strip mall. The Village of Nyack currently owns the strip mall after the last owners entered litigation with the village due to extensive damage in the lower level of the building after a torrential down pour of rain on June 23, 2011.

Down the road O’Donoghue’s building is now painted all white and geared to reopen as an organic food joint. Colin Holmes moved his interior design business from the corner of Broadway and Burd St. to a bigger Main St. location. Maura’s Kitchen is going to open a second Maura’s Kitchen at the vacant Old Fashion restaurant location.
