Demeza Delhomme has strung together infamy after infamy since taking over as mayor of Spring Valley in December 2014, but his most infamous moment yet may have taken place at this week’s village board meeting.
Village resident Reginald Alfred, 48, stood before the board and accused Delhomme of trying to wreck his home by sleeping with his wife. “He took my wife…He destroyed my house. He destroyed my family. I have two daughters,” Alfred lamented.
Delhomme responded by claiming he did not know the man.
Trustee Vilair Fonvil chastised Delhomne, stating, “You are screwing his wife and you say you do not know him.”
Other board members told Alfred they had no means to rectify his concerns and advised him to seek remedy elsewhere.
