Police seeks clues in Hempstead Rd. shooting in Ramapo

On Sunday, January 3 at about 8:50 p.m. the Town of Ramapo Police responded to a report of gun shots being heard in the area of Hempstead Rd.

Responding officers arrived and found that an unknown subject had fired a bullet through a window of a home on Hempstead Rd. Several bullets had also been fired into a car which had been parked and was unoccupied on the property of this residence. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

This incident is currently under investigation by the Town of Ramapo Detective Bureau. Anyone who may have any information relating to this incident is asked to contact the Town of Ramapo Police at 845-357-2400.
