RCC-TV 8TH ANNUAL VIDEO FESTIVAL WINNERS

The winners of the 8th Annual RCC-TV Video Festival have been announced. The overall grand prize winner, Matthew Fleischmann, took home an iPad along with his trophy for best short film, “Unsolid Ground.” Fleischmann’s narrated 12 minute video explores the controversial planned development of the Minisceongo Swamp, a 54-acre tract in Rockland County bordered by Route 202 with parts located in both Ramapo and Haverstraw.

A number of RCC graduates building careers in the media industry credit the experience they gained working with RCC’s Multi-Media Production Center as a significant factor in their success. Several return each year to judge this exciting annual event and help support our talented new artists. Prospective students should consider developing their skills in RCC’s new state-of-the-art digital media facility and pursue an AA degree in Communication Media Arts in a supportive environment led by dynamic faculty with real-world industry experience.
