ROCKLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE POLICE DIVISION:

RC SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE 4-23-15 KYILLE SEWARD PHOTOBURGLARY, PETIT LARCENY, CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Kyille Seward, age 21, residing in Las Vegas, was arrested on April 17, 2015 was arrested on an outstanding Rockland County Court warrant for burglary in the second degree, petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree. He was apprehended in Greenville County, SC and was taken into custody by Sheriff’s Dept. Detectives, brought to Rockland and lodged in the County Jail Pending an appearance in County Court.

carlosASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Carlos Soto, age 42, residing in Clarksville, TN, was arrested on April 24, 2015 on a warrant out of Rockland County Court for the following: assault on a police officer, assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and unlawful fleeting from the police. The subject was arrested by detectives from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office in Clarksville South Carolina and transported back to the Rockland County Jail where he was lodged awaiting arraignment on a later date.

danielleGRAND LARCENY
Danielle Ginise, age 25, residing in West Haven, CT, was arrested on April 21, 2015 for grand larceny in the fourth degree. The subject was being held in Bridgeport, CT and wanted on an outstanding Rockland County Court warrant on the aforementioned felony charge. She was taken into custody by Sheriff’s Dept. Detectives, brought to Rockland and lodged in the county jail pending an appearance in County Court.

DWI
Shann D. Hopkins, age 37, of Newark, NJ, was arrested on April 18, 2015 for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle at high speeds in an erratic manner on the Garden State Parkway. The subject was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.  The subject was processed at Sheriff Headquarters in New City and released on summonses to return to Chestnut Ridge Village Justice Court.

DWI
Kellianne Kilfoile, age 23, residing in Pomona, NY, was arrested on April 17, 2015 for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle on Route 59 in an erratic manner. The subject was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff Headquarters in New City and released on summonses to return to Nyack Village Justice Court.

FAILURE TO RESPOND TO FAMILY COURT
Fidias Guerrero-Valenzuela, age 34, residing in Spring Valley, was arrested on April 16, 2015 on an outstanding family court warrant issued on September 27, 2013 by Rockland County Family Court Judge Eisenpress for failure to respond to family court for arrears in excess of $24,037.66, which is owed to the private petitioner. The subject was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Eisenpress of the Rockland County Family Court and was released without bail.

TOWN OF RAMAPO POLICE DEPARTMENT:

BURGLARY
At 10:40 a.m. on April 22, 2015, Ramapo Police responded to a call of two  suspicious males at an unoccupied house located at 15 McNamara Road in the Village of Wesley Hills. Upon arrival, police found the two males upstairs in the building. They were directed to come downstairs to be interviewed and they complied. As a result of the investigation, Darwin L. Cartagena-Regaldo and Jose G. Flores-Cordova of  Spring Valley New York were arrested at the scene and both charged with burglary in the third degree. The case is still under investigation at this time.

STONY POINT POLICE DEPARTMENT:

ASSAULT
Michael Prendergast, age 24, residing at 28 Sunrise Drive Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 25, 2015 for assault in the third degree. The defendant was arrested following an investigation into an earlier domestic dispute at the defendant’s residence. The defendant was arrested, processed and later arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court before the Honorable Judge William Franks. The defendant was released on $500 bail and was issued an appearance ticket returnable on May 7, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. before Judge Franks.

AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION
Darryl Nottingham, age 50, residing at 10 Hudson Drive, Stony Point, NY, was arrested on April 26, 2016 for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree. The defendant was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the vehicle and traffic stop, a license check showed that his driving privileges were suspended for failure to pay child support. The defendant was arrested, processed and was released on several traffic summonses returnable in Stony Point Justice Court on June 4, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. before Judge William Franks.
