ROCKLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

Haywood mug-2DWI
Michael Haywood, 33, of Congers, NY, was arrested on March 28, 2015 at 4:28 a.m. for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle on Route 303 in an erratic manner. The subject was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff HQ in New City and released on summonses to return to Clarkstown Justice Court.

Saju Joseph, age 28, of Spring Valley, NY, was arrested on April 6, 2015 at 1:42 a.m. for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the subject operating a motor vehicle on  Hudson Drive in Stony Point in an erratic manner.  The subject was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff HQ in New City and released on summonses to return to Stony Point Justice Court.

Juanita Campbell, age 45, of Newburgh, NY, was arrested on March 30, 2015 for grand larceny in the fourth degree. The subject was arrested on outstanding felony indictment warrant issued on February 24, 2015 by Rockland County, County Court Judge Apotheker. The subject was arrested in Bedford Hills, and transported back to Rockland by Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Detectives. The subject is being held at the Rockland County Jail awaiting future court appearances.

Huerta Dagoberto, age 43, residing in White Plains, NY, was arrested on April 12, 2015 at 4:14 a.m. for DWI. A Sheriff Patrol Officer observed the above subject operating a motor vehicle on E. Eckerson Rd. in an erratic manner. The subject was found to be intoxicated and arrested. The subject was processed at Sheriff HQ in New City and released on summonses to return to Clarkstown Justice Court.

UNLICENSED HOME IMPROVEMENT
Curt Schoeberl, age 41, of Pine Bush, NY, was arrested on March 27, 2015 for unlicensed home improvement. The subject was arrested on outstanding Village of Sloatsburg Justice Court Bench Warrant issued by Judge Newman on January 29, 2015.  The subject was arrested in New Windsor and transported back to Rockland County for arraignment before Judge Newman where he was remanded to the County Jail on $3,000 bail, with a return date of April 13, 2015 at 5 p.m.

FAILURE TO RESPOND TO FAMILY COURT
Victor Reyes, age 54, of Bronx, NY, was arrested on April 1, 2015 on an outstanding Family Court warrant issued on March 20, 2015 by Rockland County Family Court Judge Warren, for failure to respond to Family Court for arrears in excess of $22,591, which is owed to the private petitioner. The subject was arraigned by the Honorable Judge Warren of the Rockland County Family Court and was held on $3,000 cash bail.

TOWN OF RAMAPO POLICE DEPARTMENT:

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT & ROLLOVER
On Sunday April 12, 2015 at 12:54 p.m., the Town of Ramapo Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in which one of the vehicles flipped onto its side.  Upon arrival, officers found that two vehicles collided in the intersection of College Road and West Carlton Road in the unincorporated section of the Town of Ramapo. One of the vehicles involved, an Emstar Ambulance, was heading southbound on College Road and collided with a minivan heading east on West Carlton Road. Upon the collision, the Emstar Ambulance flipped on its side, trapping the driver in the vehicle. Monsey Fire Department and Rockland Paramedics responded to the scene and extracted the driver from the vehicle.  Also assisting the occupants of the vehicles was the Hatzolah Ambulance Corp., which transported the driver of the ambulance to Westchester Medical Center with pain to his chest. Hatzolah Ambulance Corp. also transported the two occupants of the minivan to Good Samaritan Hospital for observation. Neither party in the minivan had a complaint of pain. The accident is currently under investigation by the Ramapo Police Patrol Division. It’s requested that anyone who witnessed the accident is to contact the Ramapo Police Department.
