Pedestrian struck Sunday night in New Square

FROM RPD

Ramapo Police report that on Sunday, March 8 at approximately 9:20 p.m.,  a pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Route 45 and Washington Ave. in New Square. Upon arrival on scene, officers determined that a 61-year-old male was struck by an unknown gold sedan while he was attempting to cross Washington Ave.

The vehicle, possibly a late model Toyota, struck the pedestrian and immediately fled the scene going north on Route 45.
