Nanuet Woman Accused of DWI After Hit-and-Run Crash in Pearl River

PEARL RIVER – a 58-year-old Nanuet woman was charged with drunken driving after an investigation of a hit-and-run accident in Pearl River on Tuesday, according to Orangetown police. Police said Regina Conway rear-ended another vehicle on northbound Route 304 near Crooked Hill Road. Conway, police said, drove away from the accident.

Conway was arrested a short time later, about 2:20 p.m., by town officers, police said. The investigation of the accident found that Conway was intoxicated, according to police. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. She faces a Jan. 7, 2015, hearing in Orangetown Town Court in Orangeburg.
