On December 14, 2014 at approximately 5:40 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department responded to Lord and Taylor, located at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, for a report of shoplifting.

A loss prevention employee observed two female suspects remove security devices from clothing, stuffed the clothing down their pants and exits the store without paying for the merchandise. Upon exiting the store, the employee, a female, 39, of West Nyack, tried to stop the female suspects. A physical struggle ensued between one of the suspects and the employee.

The second suspect attempted to flee the scene. Both suspects were apprehended by responding patrol units. There was no injury to the employee. The suspects were identified as Courtney Campbell, 27, of Hopewell Junction, NY and Francis Allen, 66, of New Windsor, NY.

They were arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. Courtney Campbell was found to be in possession of a small wrapper containing alleged heroin. The stolen merchandise was valued at $593.70.
