3D PRINTING-RESHAPING OUR FUTURE

On Thursday, October 23 from 8 – 10 a.m. in the Lawrence Room of Rosary Hall, the Palisades Institute will present Pete Basiliere, Research Vice President at Gartner Inc. 3D Printing is a fast growing technology that is drawing attention from both businesses and investors everywhere. This innovation is changing the way products, such as medical devices, manufacturing parts, clothing, and even food products are produced today. In the future, 3D printing will enhance access to life altering technology for people around the globe. Mr. Basiliere will discuss the basics of 3D printing, how it is a disruptive technology, 3D printing today and in the future, and the risks and opportunities inherent in utilizing this emerging technology.

A continental breakfast will be served starting at 8 a.m. The interactive forum will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end promptly at 10 a.m. The cost is $25 and pre-registration is preferred. Free parking is available by entering the campus on the west side of Western Highway just north of Mountainview Avenue in Orangeburg, NY. The aim of the Palisades Institute of Dominican College is to assist leaders in advancing their organizations and supporting long-term success.
