5TH ANNUAL HAVERSTRAW AIR SHOW ON SATURDAY

Celebrate “National Model Aviation Day” in style with the Hudson Valley Radio Control Club this weekend.

The Radio Control Club will host the fifth annual Town of Haverstraw Air Show on Saturday, August 23 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the model aerodrome on Beach Rd., West Haverstraw. Rain date is Sunday, August 24, parking available at Haverstraw Bay County Park. (Shuttle service provided).

The air show has been a steadily growing hit in recent years. Local hobbyists will launch r/c planes and helicopters and first timers will have the opportunity to fly an r/c plane with the help of a Radio Control Club instructor. Donations for Wounded Warriors will be accepted.

Free refreshments will be on hand.
