New Theatre Group Babbling Brook Players to Present Shakespeares “Twelfth Night” In Suffern

Formed by George and Liana Bekker, Babbling Brook is a brand new community theatre company with the purpose of bringing works of Shakespeare and other classics to Rockand’s beautiful parks.

The company is set to launch its first production the next two weekends with “Twelfth Night” July 25, 26 and 27 at the Clark Recreation Center, 59 Campbell
Hall Avenue, Suffern; and July 31, August 1 and 2 at the Montebello Village
Hall, 1 Montebello Road, Montebello.

All the shows wil be at 6 p.m. Admission is free and you are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Information at 917-747-9844.

The group has as a corporate sponsor, Gary Goldberg Financial Services and is
being supported also by the Town of Ramapo and the Village of Montebello.

“Twelfth Night,” Shakespeare’s musical comedy of mistaken identities, bewilderment and practical jokes, will be directed by Peter Garruba, a veteran of more than 40 years in show business. Last season Garruba directed a production of “Squabbles” at the Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, NY, where he also sits on the board of directors.

The artistic design team includes: producer, George Bekker; assistant director, Liana Bekker; stage manager, Margo
Vlahinich; art designer, Samantha Crohn; props, costume and stage set up by Kristine Stewart, Emily Awad and Zachary Scholl; original songs by Kevin Masback; sound and audio by Dynamic Productions.
