Pomona man hit with felony DWI charge on Route 202

NANUET – Sean Q. Salo, 43, of Suffern was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdmeanor, in an incident a 2:42 a.m. incident on Friday, July 4, on the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound in Nanuet, according to State Police.

He was released to a third party pending a hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.

TAPPAN – Janet K. Lantz, 53, of New City, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, in an incident at 1:57 a.m. on Friday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway northbound ramp in Tappan, according to State Police.

Lantz was released pending a hearing in Orangetown Town Court in Orangeburg.

ORANGEBURG – James J. Amoroso, 51, of Eldred, N.Y., was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, in an 11:11 a.m. incident Friday on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Orangetown, according to State Police.

Amoroso was also charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. He was released pending a hearing in Orangetown Town Court.

POMONA – Andrew E. Jacobsen, 51, of Pomona, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, in a 9:15 a.m. incident Friday on Route 202 eastbound in the Town of Ramapo, according to State Police

He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Jacobsen was being held on Friday pending arraignment.
