Team LaBier, LLC, a third grade class business at Stony Point Elementary, has been raising money for three charities, Stand up to Cancer, Friends of Karen, and Angelica, a first grade student in the school.

On June 3, Team LaBier, LLC class went down to Good Morning America to watch the show as an outside audience after reaching their goal of $3,000 for charity. They received some attention from GMA on air and on the Internet.

The team presented  a $1,000 to host Robin Roberts for Stand Up To Cancer. In addition, $1,000 was presented to Judy Factor, executive director of Friends of Karen at GMA.

Stony Point Elementary PTA gave Team LaBier, LCC $300 to start the company, and the LCC reimbursed them within two weeks.  The class has been guided by teacher Jennifer LaBier  and Ayo Hart, who owns two nation wide companies, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe, and the school’s principal and assistant principal.
