County Executive Ed Day proclaimed June 3, 2014 as Morning Music Club Day in Rockland County to mark their 90th anniversary and recognize them for their service to our community. They celebrated at a luncheon at Rockland Country Club.
The Morning Music Club (MMC) was established on January 8, 1924 by a group of professional women musicians in the Nyack area. Today, MMC attracts both men and women as members from Rockland and adjacent counties, and includes music lovers and patrons as well as musicians.
