VFW LADIES AUXILIARY PIERMONT GIVES HOMES FOR HEROES’ VETS A HAND

VFW Ladies Auxiliary of Piermont gave $400 in supermarket gift cards to the veterans now living in Phase I of Homes for Heroes, which is building affordable housing for homeless and disabled veterans.

Homes for Heroes is built on Camp Shanks, in Tappan, N.Y., from which over 1.3 million GI’s left to fight in Europe during WWII via Piermont, N.Y.
