Local 503 were honored today by the United Way of Rockland County for running this year’s largest corporate United Way campaign. The award was made at the not-for-profit’s 14th Annual Top Donors and Volunteer Recognition Awards Breakfast. O&R President and CEO Tim Cawley accepted the award on behalf of the company, saying, “Our annual campaign has not only stood the test of time, but has grown stronger with the decades. That’s a tribute to the generosity of the women and men of O&R – Union and Management alike, along with our retirees.” Combined with a dollar-for-dollar shareholder match, O&R and I.B.E.W. Local 503 raised a total of $200,160 for the United Way during the 2013-2014 campaign.
