SO “LONG” RAMAPO CENTRAL

To the Editor,

With the school board elections next week it is an opportunity for the parents/taxpayers of Ramapo to send a message. For over a decade, Craig Long has been on the BOE. Since he took the reins as president, RCSD has been mired in scandals and financial disasters. Here are some lowlights from Long’s tenure:

1. The Brian Miele scandal

2. Comptroller’s audit finds misappropriated millions

3. Over 40 teachers and programs cut in last two years alone.

4. Massive turnover in the central administration

The common denominator in all these community issues is Craig Long’s leadership. It is time for the community to seek a new voice for Ramapo and say So Long!
