Senator Carlucci Honors Rockland Olympian Josephine Pucci on Senate Floor

Senator Carlucci honored Olympian and Pearl River native Josephine Pucci on the Senate Floor in Albany this week.The Senator thanked Ms. Pucci for her hard work and dedication to the Rockland community and congratulated her for the US Women’s Hockey team Silver Medal victory in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

Josephine Pucci was also honored as a New York Senate Woman of Distinction. A ceremony later in the afternoon showcased the outstanding women living and working throughout New York State. Ms. Pucci will return to Harvard University this fall to continue her studies on traumatic brain injuries sustained by young athletes.
