Folk Rock Duo Aztec Two Step Booked at Turning Point Cafe May 30

ATS_pub_low_ResRex Fowler and Neil Shulman met in Boston years ago at an open mic bar and teamed up to play gigs worldwide and many times at the popular Piermont venue Turning Point. Neil says we hit it off right away and started playing coffee houses in the Boston area and have been together 43 years.

Describing their music as singer songwriter folkrock, Schulman says they will also be doing works of classic duos such as Simon and Garfunkel and the Everly Brothers at the May 30 performance at Turning Point Cafe. “We draw both an older and a younger crowd at our shows,” says Schulman with the younger ones tuning in to our folk rock sounds.

Aztec Two Step started recording for Electra Records in 1972 and have done RCA albums. Acoustic Live magazine says they are possibly the best acoustic duo in the world today.

Tickets at Turning Point Cafe.
