More than 170 children, families and alumni of St. Paul’s Christian Day School came out yesterday evening to celebrate the debut of a new playground during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, located on 323 South Main Street in New City, NY.

The ceremony took place as part of the school’s “Family Fun Night,” where children and families enjoyed pizza, ice cream and other fun activities at the event, which also featured music from the award-winning children’s group “The Bossy Frog Band.”

“Thank you to The Enrichment Fund and CDS families and alumni for their support of our school,” said Judith Benoit, Director of St. Paul’s Christian Day School.

The Enrichment Fund, a school fundraising organization led by school parents, partnered with area parents for over 6 years to raise the necessary $46,000 to provide the new playground equipment.
