ADOPT-A-PLATOON, BLAUVELT LIONS CLUB

The boxes seen in this photo are being shipped from the Blauvelt Lions Club to a local army soldier SFC Michael Rubino. Michael and his family have been long time residence of Blauvelt and parishioners of St. Catherine’s Church. Michael was involved in South Orangetown Little League, St Catherine’s C.Y.O. program, South Orangetown Mighty Midget program and more, before going overseas to serve the country.

His parents Mike & Lydia Rubino and pictured with Councilman and Lion Paul Valentine. Lions accepts donations at Valentine Electric’s office, located at 374 Greenbush Rd., Blauvelt , New York from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
