The Nyack Pour House has engaged world-renown, celebrity chef, Brian Duffy to redesign its menu as part of the re-launch of what owners call “The Hudson Valley’s most successful Sports Bar and Grill.”

Chef Duffy has applied his skills to create new lunch and dinner entrees, and add more than 100 beers and new specialty drinks. The Nyack Pour House kicked off the revitalized bar and food menus with a sold-out, VIP charity event on Friday, March 28 from 7 -10 p.m.

Chef Duffy’s new menu includes signature stuffed burgers, jumbo salads, innovative entrees, mouthwatering bar-b-cue, and more featuring meats sourced from local butchers and fresh local produce. The Pour House has also upgraded both its tap and bar menus. New specialty drinks that include libations infused with fresh squeezed fruit and juices will be available along with craft beers from 75 USA breweries. The new “Taste of the States” selection was inspired by local beverage consultant Patrick Foley and has more than 100 beers available either on tap or in bottles.

Pour House is located on Main St. in Nyack, in the heart of downtown. The Pour House also has a vibrant after hour scene and is among the most popular nighttime bars in Rockland County.

“The Pour House is a great example of forward thinking, innovative restaurants that I love,” said Duffy. “The new menu, drinks and beers we have chosen will elevate The Pour House to a new level and will appeal to the hard-core foodie and casual diner alike.”

Chef Duffy has been on the forefront of the celebrated gastropub movement and was one of the first chefs in America to elevate modest pub food to epicurean status by reinventing and revitalizing classic Irish pub fare as Corporate Executive Chef of Kildare’s Irish Pub. With his “New Celtic” cuisine, he created eclectic twists on traditional favorites that stimulate the palate and appeal to the soul. Chef Duffy can be seen on Spike TV’s Bar Rescue as one of Jon Taffer’s team of experts. He has appeared on DIY Network, HGTV, NBC, and Fine Living Network and annually on The Today Show’s St. Patrick’s Day Irish cook-off.

“Chef Duffy has done an incredible job with our menu and we look forward to introducing it to our loyal customers. We owe it to them to constantly up our game, and we hope the new menu will please them and appeal to new customers,” said Ryan Spicer, co-owner of The Pour House. “Nyack is the Hudson Valley’s premier destination for great food, fun and entertainment. Our goal is to help that image and attract new customers to Nyack by offering a delicious menu and an amazing experience.”
