NEW CITY–BASED FINANCIAL ADVISOR NAMED ONE OF FINANCIAL TIMES’ TOP 400 ADVISORS

The leader of a New City-based firm has made the list of the Top 400 Financial Advisors in the United States, and as one of only 66 investment advisors in New York State to have been so honored—Kenneth Carter of the Carter Wealth Management Group.

The judges at Financial Times considered a number of essential qualities of investment advisors. Factors include assets under management, experience, industry certifications, and compliance record. Investment performance and financial advisor production are not explicit components. They published the Top 400 Financial Advisors in their March 25, 2014 special issue. The publishers stated on their website, “The investing world has become more complicated, more global and more demanding. It takes a lot more effort and ability these days to be a top financial adviser. That is why we offer the FT 400 as a way to look at what makes a top adviser. Each year, the Financial Times 400 Top Advisers provides a snapshot of the very best advisers to be found at traditional broker-dealer firms.”
