CONGRATULATIONS EAGLE SCOUT REARDON

Congratulations to Stony Point resident Brian Reardon of Boy Scouts of America Troop #61 on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, a distinction earned by only 4 percent of all Boy Scouts nationwide.

County Executive Day presented Brian with an Award of Excellence on behalf of the county during a weekend Court of Honor ceremony at Albertus Magnus High School in Bardonia. Brian’s Eagle Leadership Service Project was the restoration and beautification of outdoor property at the high school.

The improvements, including benches and other seating, were dedicated to all deceased alumni and students of the school.
