VNS Westchester Reception for Rockland Healthcare Providers

To celebrate the launch of its home healthcare services for residents of Rockland County, Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester (VNSW) is hosting a free reception for healthcare and social service providers serving Rockland residents. The event will take place on Thursday, March 27 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Hilton Pearl River in Pearl River, NY.

VNSW is the largest independent, not-for-profit Medicare-certified home healthcare agency in Westchester, also serving the Bronx, Dutchess, Putnam and Rockland counties. The agency was recently granted a license by the NY State Department of Health to serve Rockland residents to meet growing needs in the County for skilled nursing, rehabilitation, social work and home health aide services. Community Home Health Care in Spring Valley is an event sponsor.

“The reception,” said VNSW President & CEO, Lou Nemnom, “is an opportunity for healthcare and social service providers serving Rockland to network in an informal setting, while learning how our home healthcare services can provide a continuum of care for their patients and clients in need of care at home. In today’s healthcare climate, it’s critical that patients don’t fall between the cracks in receiving the care they need, particularly upon discharge from hospitals or other institutional settings.”

The reception will feature a complimentary wine and beer bar, light dinner and dessert buffet. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
