Nyack Center Honors Women of Leadership & Vision

The “Women of Leadership and Vision” celebrating its 10th year, honors community minded achievers for their vision, innovation and leadership towards improving the quality of life for others. This year’s event will include the third annual Young Women of Leadership and Vision Scholarship.

The award will go to a young women who is a high School Senior and is active in helping others in their community. These women will be honored on Saturday, March 8 at the Nyack Center in Nyack, NY. A catered brunch, entertainment and inspirational words will be part of this special event.

The event was created by former Nyack Center Board Chairperson Voncile Oliver as a way to honor the many women who give so much to our community. Women in politics, non-profit leaders, activists, entrepreneurs, survivors, educators, doctors and artists have been honored for the last 10 years at the event during Women’s History Month. Over 140 people attend this special brunch each year. Previous Women of Leadership and Vision have included a cross section of Rockland’s most distinguished citizens.
