ADDITIONAL 2014 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE

The Rockland Community Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are available for the following scholarship funds. These join the scholarship applications announced on February 24, 2014.

Christine Gallagher Scholarship will award $500 to a Rockland County high school senior who has shown a demonstrated commitment towards the education and treatment of those with disabilities.

Forge Ahead Through Timber Scholarship offers a $500 scholarship to a promising Rockland County high school senior who demonstrates a passion for the outdoors.

Stephen F. Strack Jr. Scholarship awards $1,000 annually to a North Rockland college bound senior baseball player who exemplifies leadership, competitiveness and dedication on and off the field.

Applicants must be residents of Rockland County and meet specific criteria set forth by the individual scholarships. To learn more, or to download an application, visit www.rocklandgives.org.
