In sixth grade, Lein discovered her love for baking. When choosing a college came around, she knew she had to go for baking, the CIA being at the top of her list. Once accepted into the CIA, Lein had to gain experience before attending the college. As a senior at Nyack High School, Lein began working at the Cakery in April of 2013 as an intern. She was then hired in July. She started out only working a few days a week and now works almost full time. Lein’s employers said she has grown as an employee and a baker since she first started. She hopes to put this experience to use and one day open her very own bakery.
