The Stephen F. Strack Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

A new scholarship award has been founded in memory of Stephen F. Strack Jr. who, on May 22, 1979, was killed in a car accident at age 29. His friends and family decided to keep his spirit and memory alive through the creation of a memorial fund. Stephen was an outstanding college-bound baseball player for Haverstraw-Stony Point High School, graduating in 1967. The award is given annually to a North Rockland college bound senior baseball player who exemplifies leadership, competitiveness and dedication on and off the field.

This fund joins with other funds in our diverse portfolio that are working to make a difference in the lives of people throughout Rockland County.
